Because protection of the environment is everyone’s business, the Fromagerie Paul Dischamp has a strong environmental approach especially in terms of renewable energies.


  • It has optimised its energy balance with the construction in 2014 of a forestry wood chips boiler, which now produces 90% of the heat in the Saint-Nectaire plant.
  • The installation of solar panels on 70 farms making for an annual production exceeding 5 MWH of electricity from renewable sources also clearly vouches for our conviction to sustainable development aimed at protecting our environment.
  • The group operates two NH3 systems: non-polluting refrigerant with no greenhouse effect and no impact on the ozone layer.
  • Finally, like the whole sector, the Fromagerie Paul Dischamp is committed to collecting and processing the whey as close as possible to our producers.
